Is SideNote Pro a subscription?
No. The individual licence is $49 once, with no recurring SideNote Pro fee.
Can I try it first?
Yes. Try the full application for 30 days. No payment method is required. The trial starts when you confirm it on the first-use screen, and that step needs an internet connection because it is authorized by the licensing service rather than issued on your PC. After that, whether a request goes online is down to the provider you configure.
How many devices can I use?
One individual licence covers one user on up to two devices.
Is AI usage included?
No. Hosted providers may charge for requests under their own pricing; a local model has no API charge.
Do I need a SideNote Pro account?
No. Your licence is delivered by email and activated in the Windows application.
What if I change my mind?
You can ask for a refund within 14 days of purchase, without giving a reason and at no cost. The 30-day trial comes first, so you run the complete application before you pay anything.
What changes with Business and Enterprise?
The standard SideNote Pro application is the same complete product on every licence. Business and Enterprise add volume licensing, centralized purchasing and organisational support. Customization, deployment and procurement assistance can be discussed where required, and any custom work is scoped separately.
